James A. Tully

A true entrepreneur, James A. Tully serves as the CEO of USA in addition to holding executive roles in other business ventures.

Tully acquired the fledging United Surgical Assistants business in 2002 from the ownership group who founded the company. In the next five years, revenues steadily increased with the addition of Physician Assistants and Doctors in six states. Tully's corporate background includes serving as the Regional VP for National Healthcare Resources. After relocating to Florida, Tully served as a partner in a medical legal business. Tully began his professional career at the New York State Department of Education where he managed the Disability Department.

Tully holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Siena College in Loudonville, New York.


Stephen Chatterton
President and Chief Operating Officer

A native of Albany, New York, Stephen Chatterton oversees the company's operations at their corporate headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Chatterton officially joined USA in 2003 as VP of Operations after serving as a stockholder for a year. In February 2004, Chatterton took over the responsibilities of the VP of Marketing/Customer Relations managing USA's staff of outside marketing representatives.

Chatterton's corporate background includes a slew of management, marketing and operational experience including tenures at Anderson Equipment & Testing (General Manager), Air & Water Technologies (Product Manager), Omega Environmental (General Manager) and Construction Services, Inc. (General Manager).

 

Chatterton studied Engineering Science at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.


Colleen Tully
Senior VP of Billing & Collections

Colleen Tully has over 20 years experience in the medical administrative and practice management arena. Colleen owned and operated a medical billing and consulting business from 1999-2007.

In January 2008, Colleen joined USA to manage the central billing office.

Colleen holds an A.A.S. degree from Hudson Valley Community College, Troy NY.

Colleen is a member of the American Academy of Certified Coders, Healthcare Medical Billing Association and the American Medical Billing Association.


Anthony Jimenez, PA-C

Senior VP of Surgical Services & FA Recruiting

A native of Tampa, Florida, Anthony Jimenez facilitates all the Surgical Assistant relations for USA in the state of Florida. His duties range from recruiting new Surgical Assistants to maintaining relationships among current employees. Jimenez joined USA in 2001 as a surgical PA-C before transitioning to the company's corporate headquarters as a Field Staff Coordinator and PA Recruiter in 2003. Jimenez was promoted to VP of Surgical Services/PA Recruiting in January of 2005.

Prior to joining USA, Jimenez spent six years as a PA-C with the Florida Orthopedic Institute. Jimenez attended the University of South Florida studying pre-med courses prior to graduating from the University of Florida PA program in 1996.


Matthew Stevens
Senior VP of Sales & Business Development

Matthew Stevens has extensive experience in the sales and marketing management arena covering over 25 years.

 

He joined USA in 2007 after spending 8 years with Cisco Systems Inc., where he held several positions in sales and engineering including Area Managed Services Manager, Area Network Security Specialist and Regional Sales Manager. At Cisco he managed 30 Sales Representatives and was responsible for several evolving regions.

 

Prior to Cisco, Stevens held several other sales management roles at other corporations, including Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Data General and Genesys Telecommunications.

 

Stevens joined Raptor Systems as their first Sales Executive in 1994 where they had a total of 3 employees. He developed and built the southern sales group and secured Raptor’s largest customer, Compaq, which also provided Raptor with additional funding allowing the company to IPO in May 1996.

 

Stevens served on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum from 2002 – 2004.

 

 

Maryann Hale
Chief Financial Officer

Maryann Hale has over 17 years experience in public accounting in the Tampa Bay Area  and is a member of the  American Institute of Certified Public Accounts

 

She has a Masters of Accounting from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Barry University in Miami.  She won an Accounting Excellence Award from the Florida Institute of CPA's and is a member of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society.
