VIRUS PROTECTION
There has been an outbreak of viruses lately and unfortunately there is not much we can do to prevent these from coming in. The best thing any of us can do is to catch them as they come in and delete them before they infect our system and others. Once someone opens an infected email the virus is set loose on their system and will then begin replicating itself and emailing a newly infected email out to everyone in the victims address book. If you receive an email that requires you to open an attachment, go to a certain web site or otherwise try to get you to do something that would initiate a potential virus, just delete the message in question. You can feel free to call me if you get something that looks Official and we can determine if indeed is a real message or a virus waiting to be set free.
Steve Chatterton found a small program called 'Stinger' that will scan your hard drive and clean out any of the current viruses you may have. Just click on the link below and it will ask you to 'Open' or 'Download' the program. you can do either. Once you open the program it will take you to a control panel which should already be set to scan your 'C' Drive. Please do this as soon as possible to make sure you are safe, for now anyway. Viruses are being created everyday and they are getting more and more tricky in their attempts to get you to accept them. Please install a virus program on your machine if you don't already have one. 'McAfee' and 'Norton' are the highest rated ones. Also make sure to keep these programs constantly updated.

Many of the documents I will have available here for download are in 'PDF' format. They open with 'Adobe Acrobat Reader'. Most computers come with this simple little program, but in case you do not have it, I have made the site available below. Just click on the link and it will bring you to the download page. There you will enter your information as well as the platform your computer is running and you can download the program yourself. Once it is set up you will be able to view the documents and print from your system.
